Logansport Junior Civic Theater, Inc. purpose is to encourage the cultural development of the young people of Cass County and surrounding communities.
JCT maintains high theatrical standards yet provides activities that are enjoyable for youth participation. We cooperate with community, state, and national agencies or organizations for the theatrically related purposes. It is the policy of this organization to cast all who tryout for a particular production when that said production warrants or allows the casting of all who tryout. Preserving the intended integrity of a production shall take a precendence over mass casting. Final casting decisions shall be at the discretion of the artistic director(s).
We have various productions throughout the year to encourage all ages of youth to participate in theater. The summer production is for ages three through graduating seniors. Our Christmas production is cast with students in third grade through eighth grade and the Mystery Dinner Theater is for students in eighth grade through seniors in high school.
Junior Civic is a non-profit organization. We depend on the generosity of the community and the adults and parents who volunteer their time and talents for the young people of our community.
